Most of the better paying carriers don't care about the age of your truck as long as it looks decent and will pass a DOT inspection. Those who have age restrictions are usually the lower paying mileage carriers. Landstar, CRST Malone and several others could care less about the age of your equipment and you can earn much more with them than with a $0.85/mile carrier.

Dont worry about age. The costs of a new truck as well as the pain of all the emissions crap isnt worth it. Ask a shop how much a vleaning is for a pdf filter. You'd pay as much for that as a used truck. Talking upwards of 5k. And thats not covered under warranty let alone having to replace it. Most great carriers arNT going to care about age. Not only that but you'll make more money, landstar, Mercer, greatwide, theh are good choices.
