CFI wouldnt even allow the "support the troops" yellow magnetic ribbon. I had them on my sleeper vents because that was about the only place that was metal on the truck:biggrin_25516:. I'd take them off when going into a terminal.
I thought the ban was very unreasonable for this particular decal, when I asked tptb they said the only decals allowed on company equipment were those legally required, oh well, their truck, their rules.

I'd have left them on, filmed them taking them off, posted it all over the internet, and thoroughly enjoyed the ensuing sh*tstorm while I chuckled to myself on my way to my next job. I'm kinda an ### like that.

From a company standpoint I totally understand a total ban--you would have to hire 5 people just to check if a sticker is OK--therefor none at all--so don't take the vet thing so seriously--look at the big picture--don't ever forget your trailer is really a rolling billboard--so it is the image you want to present to the public and customers

Aye, if I owned a company and it was more than say 5 trailers I would have a total ban too. Even the support our troops thing can be taken the wrong way by stupid people such as thinking your company supported the Iraq war, despite the fact the sticker says the troops it says nothing about the war one way or the other but people read into things to create some outrage. It just isn't worth it.

Unless the company wanted to openly play politics or religion (some do, that is thier choice, it might even help them in certain circumstances) it would seem like a terrible waste of time deciding what is and isn't appropriate. That being said if I were an owner, I would put whatever I felt like on there, I actually doubt it would have much effect on customers, unless it was seen as a company wide thing.

Some truck stops have magnetic bumper stickers so maybe that driver switches it out. Last week written on a trailer in dirt it read. " i love Pu**Y" but there were no stars and ss were there. And that is why you pre trip your equipment:biggrin_25514:
