It’s about the same with livestock. If you don’t have Hartford or Great West for cargo a lot of people won’t load you because they know it will be a cluster if there’s ever a claim.

Progressive has a bad name with some brokers and could be a problem. No resent inspections are another one. Are you trying to book a load on the spot and having to set up with the brokerage for that load? If so this could be another reason since to many trucks and no reason to wait on a set up for them.

Never had a claim on cargo.
    Never had an inspection.
But with Progressive at the moment.

Just found this thread because I am considering progressive for renewal. There price is just so #### cheap. Almost HALF of all others. Still waiting to hear back from a few. I think your issue is no inspections. My MC is fairly new too. Around 3 years. Tons of places wouldn't work with me when I had zero inspections. Hell pull into a scale that is open and request a inspection. Tell them you need one for brokers to see you are legit. I honestly remember a good 30% of brokers just flat out refusing to work with me when I had a newer MC and no inspections. I don't blame them for the reasons already listed in this thread. Freight fraud is a huge business now days.

Hang in there. Asking for inspections is what I did.

Yeah hasn't been an issue for awhile I have gotten a bunch of inspections since then. This is when my current MC was brand new. But that will definitely get people to not work with you. Also inspections really aren't a big deal if you take decent care of your equipment.
