Another one I would like to add is the TA in Ashland VA at exit 89. Giant parking lot, clean showers, and have never been bothered in my truck/parking lot. Fairly easy on/off the highway as well.

The pilot and TA that sit next to each other off of I-10 in florida just before you get to jacksonville is pretty scary. Baldwin I think is the name of the town. I grabbed the last spot in the TA that was open and man I'll tell ya what. Woke up to someone bangin on the side of the truck at about 3 in the mornin. I figured it was a lizard but when I poked my head out to shew her off I saw three burly lookin fellas standin out there instead. Needless to say, I made sure the doors were locked and slowly stuck my head back in the sleeper. I'm big guy and ain't afraid of a fight but sometimes its best just to walk away.

Santa Fe Diner and Truck Stop, I-25 XT 115, Socorro, NM.... At first glance, it looks like something out of a Friday the 13th'ish horror movie. Makes you wonder if you wanna get out of the truck much less close your eyes and try to go to sleep, but it's actually a really laid back place with a nice little restaurant, friendly owners, and quiet in the lot.

Now, there's a Flying J in SC, I-95 exit 184 or 3? I know there's a Wilco and J on the same exit, but anyway the Flying J is always empty, I've pulled in at 1AM and half the lot was empty. But anyone that I've told about it says it must be a really crappy place but I've never had a single problem there. The back of the lot is pretty dark but not once have I had any knocks on the door or anything like that. Anyone know why it's always empty?
