What are the safest and most dangerous truckstops??

Now I remember why that TS on my favorites list.

 

Judging what the hookers in Odessa are charging those oil company boys, those Memphis girls could retire in a few months.

 

LOL--maybe so--BUT--it is one of those kind of places where(especially drivers that do not know the area)can feel relatively comfortable--and with ALL the other trucks there--the odds become better of not getting involved--course the do have NATHANS hot dogs and fries inside--and while not as good as the original stand in Coney Island--still pretty good--or maybe just because it is a childhood memory of mine--after delivering it all 3 markets in NYC w/Dad as a pup--and loading in the area--having lunch there
Oh and as for the Skyway--who remembers who was in the whse across the street? I coulda swore it was the original Metro area Sysco--but--buddy o mine says NO but he can't remember either--LOL

 

When I first turned 21 I ran day cab into NYC some and I would nap across the seats in the Vince Lombardi sometimes...oh to be young & dumb lol...

 

Da Vince has Nathan's too..... or did ........ Not bad I've heard - my kids liked it, but I never could eat a Nathan's Frank in Jersey !

 

yeah still do--like I said kinda memory thing for me--but I LOVE their fries and FRESH lemonade--LOL

 

I haven't read all of the previous 82 pages... but, if not mentioned up till now, the Key Truck Stop in Channelview, TX certainly deserves dishonorable mention; and the cherry on top is the Cheatin' Heart Saloon across the street. Also, not a truck stop but deserving of a nod and a shout-out--Mama Simone's in Fontucky, CA... "Too much monkey business!" They call me Footloose, BTW, just trippin' back down memory lane... SALUTE!!

 

Doesn't the Vince also have a Roy Rogers too?

 

O sure test my foggy memory--I think Burger King--Dickies BBQ and.........and.....hmmmm...LOL

 

No Roy Rogers... BUT, it does have a Popeyes, Nathans Hot Dogs, Starbucks and Burger King.
