turn the key on to power up the switches, then quickly get out of the truck, in case they are a part of the self destruct switches which many irate drivers had installed in the past few years, cuz they hate thier jobs, thier company and they hate thier spouses, and they hate the DOT cops, and they hate drivers that take thier breaks at the fuel islands, and they have had enough.........

Surely you tried them before asking. I would nearly bet someone had some aux lights forward or backwards or both.

Probably separate dump vales for the trailer axles or some other dubious modification, like disabling the brake lights. lol, just they way they are thrown in there, didn't even bother to line them up...

Could have been anything, dump valves for trailer axles, dump valves for belly dump trailers, etc.etc.
