Ok, here’s a real life example...., This truck was owned by the city of Ripley here in WV. In order to achieve the best of both worlds..... they ordered it with 2 speed rear ends. Hi for on highway, and low for off road and hard slow pulling when loaded.... and has a wet kit for a hydraulic trailer..... something you may think about too??
What are typical builds for a farming 5th wheel truck?

@OLDSKOOLERnWV that certainly would provide the spread for all-around driving.
On the bright side, the game allows me to run brand new equipment
Assuming I wanted to simplify my shifter, would a FR series 10-speed give me enough gear spread?OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this. -
In all my years of farming the mist common transmissions ive seen were either Eaton 10 speeds or Eaton 13 speeds... Unfortunately I do not know specifically what models.
And 3.75 rear ends are pretty common on farms.Coffey and Epicdudejo Thank this. -
FR B, or FRO C ?? Which FR series are you thinking of....? -
