    what i do know is that a few companies do not warranty a pair of work boots, if the person is an asphalt worker.

    did you spill diesel on yours, as you went to go and hang up the hose? it's not that difficult to get some on the boots when fueling and some splash comes out. i used to get "some splash" on mine, when i had to fuel, but i wiped them as best as i could.
