Sort of a follow up on my previous question (http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...or/251512-what-are-your-load-preferences.html), but each week, what are your averages for the following:
1. Miles run
2. percent of the time you're running empty
3. Gross Income
4. Profit (Once you subtract insurance, fuel, etc.)
5. Average Pay per Mile (loaded)
6. Days worked
7. days Working
8. Day's spent at home
Please let me know. Collecting research for my Masters in Transportation and the more feedback the better!
What are your averages each week?

3634 miles(higher than average, normally right at 2k to 2200)
190 are empty, so about 5 percent(lower than average, normally as high as 20 percent.)
Gross revenue of 7400
estimated net after all expenses except income taxes 5200.
Worked every day(2 short half days)
No days at home cause I left Sunday afternoon and won't be back till late Tuesday. At which point I'll will be home a minimum of 3 to 5 days unless a really good paying load comes up.

From May 21 to May 30.
1. Miles run 3,828
2. percent of the time you're running empty - don't keep track - I just do all miles
3. Gross Income 10,175
4. Profit (Once you subtract insurance, fuel, etc.) Spent 2,050 in fuel, another 450 in tolls and misc road expenses, will probably put another 600 in fuel in to be at full when home again - $3100 in expenses - "profit" - 7075 ** monthly expenses are 3,000 - with no truck payment
5. Average Pay per Mile (loaded) 2.65 (all miles)
6. Days worked 9 days
7. days Working ? worked every day from 21 to 30, took 24th off at home
8. Day's spent at home
Please let me know. Collecting research for my Masters in Transportation and the more feedback the better!
FOR THE MONTH:
miles: 10086
gross money: 23,775
total spent on fuel: 8,050 (includes the 600 or so I will put in on way home)
total spent on tolls/road expenses: estimating 750
gross after those expenses: 14975
gross per mile: 2.35
Monthly expenses (insurance, trailer payment, load board) = 3,000
repairs, oil changes, tires, come out of this 14,975 also
and so does MY SALARY! - I pay myself a set amount per month rather than a per mile pay, so my "per mile" driver pay varies.
This is from May 2 to May 30.
Total 29 days.
Worked every day except for, 7,16,17,18,19,20,24. Total 7 days off.
Home days out of the 7 days off are 6 of those 7. One reset on the road.
worked 22 days it looks like. Will be home tonight and tomorrow, back at it June 1.

Just was scrolling the poster's latest posts and saw posts claiming she needed help before signing w/ factoring company and that she needed help with info for her thesis and etc etc. Sounds like another person with hidden agenda. My opinion, may be untrue. -
To the OP: what is a "Masters in Transportation"?
versustrdr Thanks this.
