Thanks. None of those would work for me as I don't wear boots with heels. My soles are flat Vibrams with a good lug. I do open deck work so they suit my needs perfectly.

Maybe I should move up in the world but I wear the Walmart brand $34.95 or at least it was last time I bought them.

They actually are a decent shoe for the price. Especially if you wear them when you're driving because they will last some time.

If you are on your feet every day working in a garage they won't last as long as other shoes. But then again at $34.95 you can go through about 4 or 5 pair that you would have bought one pair of something else.

I am going to Leddys on Monday for a new pair of dress boots and will ask if they can make a pair of lace up work boots. Having a super wide foot is a pain when it comes to buying shoes.

    The Walmart Interceptor duty boots?

The outsoles are a bit on the hard side and the zippers are fragile, but the material they’re made of is fairly tough.

originally bought these for riding, but Started using them while driving just because they’re so comfortable and look good
The pedal in my truck isn’t at the best angle for taller guys, but these really help
