I went to Swift school in Salt Lake City, Utah. The school was great! & a great experience for me. I learned a lot & the training was great. I left there because I had just had another son so OTR was out of the question for me, I wanted to be regional. Once I got my CDL i left Swift & got hired pulling Tankers with Schneider. Schneider didn't care about the contract that Swift had on me. I've been here pulling Tankers for 8 months & wouldn't change a thing!
Swift cdl school is mediocre at best and is a great way to lose 4k if you're not a really fast learner. I posted about my experience there in the very first thing I've ever written on this site. Feel free to look it up. To be fair to them, I did get my cdl and they didn't lock me into a contract so I was able to immediately leave and never set foot in a non school swift truck. So that's great. Edit: my school was in VA. It was not as great as Thull's. But that does remind me that I wanna talk to him about schneider tank side. Something about the shiny round non orange thing is drawing my attention.
I think any were goes there will be some type of time he has to do because of the contract most of them put in place
So does CRST run teams or solo, I wouldn't mind flatbed eventually wanna run local at the ports or pulling logs or wood chips I'm 15 mins from the port in Savannah and there are bout 7 miles within a 50 mile radius from my home so I'd like to do it all just gott start somewhere
