Try swift or JB, They should hire you. I didnt really catch why schneider didnt hire you, do you have a bad record or something? If so, and JB or swift dont take you, you might want to research some smaller mom and pop companies. If youre a student and have a bad record now adays you are going to have trouble getting in with someone. However dont give up, there are right around 400,000 trucking companies in the US. Goodluck!

Thats a tough one. Maybe consult a lawyer. If you refuse, or dont show it is the same as testing positive. These are rules that are in the dot handbook. That is something you definitely want to clear up before proceding any further. Maybe order your dac and see if its on there. Hopefully some other drivers will chime in on this one. Logsrus I believe might know something more on this.

In this industry, such an action on the drivers part is as bad as a positive drug test. It is classed as a refusal to test.

As best I can figure it, you backed out of a training contract prior to signing. And they got pissed...correct?

    And you got training elsewhere....correct?

This would be an internal thing, as you had no CDL...you have no DAC to report to.

So I guess you're pretty much hosed with Schneider. But the gate should be wide open for any other company you want to try out for.

If my conclusions are correct...that is.

If you search for some smaller companys you can have many perks over big companys. I find with the smaller companys your not just a number or unit your an actualy part of the company and you can become quite close to your employer. You have better chance to drive nicer equipment and you'll get reconized more for doing a good job.

    2fuzy Thanks this.
