A oil by-pass- filter , and if your running a fan belt to cool , have it taken off and put fans in line with the radiator . and may be distilled water

I concur with the above - F series emergency pattern cab and chassis ( for police, ems, and fire ) have the heavy duty A/C and cooling options avail as factory or aftermarket. Exhaust brake options are also getting popular in little trucks - especially Dodge/Cummings combo's. Just Google it.

My son + I have used good oils and filters for yrs , and have done a lot of reading/asking about a --- Oil by pass filter ---Found out this week there is -Million mile club-- thats puts these on and only change out the filter and what oil it holds ever 150,000, If you buy this kit u also send in a sample of the oil to there tech's and they report back to you . Seems also that they mount the filter were the bottom of the case/container catches air and it keeps the engine oil cool --- Have read -- a little -- were there is a add on fuel filter that u put in line , the ones that have done this have -- never---had injector problems ,

I'd be leary of stretching oil changes out past 12,000 on a light truck. Much less 150,000.

It would be ok with a good by pass system like the ops1 and a sample program every 10k

Are you sure you are hot and not a defective sensor? My F350 with 7.3, I can't make run hot, ran 16k in 100 deg temps with a (found later) leaking line and was 3 qts low on coolant.

I run an amsoil by pass for the oil and two extra Cat's on the fuel, amsoil oil, ungraded intercooler, ram air, AFE air filter and a few more little parts have been removed!

My truck runs great and much cooler, low EGT's and my mileage is better. I also run an EFI live program which I can adjust the tune with five different levels for what ever purpose I need.

These engines can come a long ways AFTER the leave the dealuership, many parts actually kill your engine, like the EGR and the DPF.

People can say what they want about these mods the proof is in the oil analysis and performance. I check the specs and continamants in the oil to see what is wearing down and in need of attention BEFORE a failure occurs.

My truck runs like a champ now and last week it went from near Tyler, Texas to Glasco, Kansas then all the way back to Salina, Kansas before I refueled and I still had 6 gallans left. A stock truck could never do this!

Mine is a Chevy 2009 3500 HD LTZ with the special ordered TopKick engine. Love it!

The parts needed to extend the life of your engine cost a fraction of what they save you. Even within the first year.

    Even though it's a government motors truck......sadly
