I "think" that I have narrowed my choices down to either CFI or SNI to learn truckin'. I'm a bit concerned about SNI because I had knee surgery (scope) done a week ago. The squats and squat to lift might be tough on me right now.
What do you know about CFI's CDL school and training program for a newby?

Do you know who has terminals in the Norfolk Va area?

    Thanks,
    Coltpilot...

You may want to look up Givens there in Chesapeake I think they may hire students but dont quote me on that. I used to live there in Norfolk and I drove For Van Wyk out of Sheldon Iowa. There closest terminal was in Waynesboro,Va. 5-6 days out and a minimum of 34 hrs home good pay and decent equipment. run mostly VA-NC to midwest and back I cant remember ever running into the northeast, maybe i was just lucky:biggrin_25514: ...I would still be there had I not decided to move back to TX... now I drive for CFI and from what I see there finishing program is top notch but I cant comment on the school as I know nothing about it. but 7500 miles all driven by the student with the finisher in the passenger seat seems a whole lot better than teaming with somebody just to be used for an extra logbook and not learn much :biggrin_25513:
