What can't you drive without?

actually, I didn't. Did work with a guy who built his own storm trooper costume and all. Did it up nice, too.

But what I refer to as my 'Darth Vader mask' is my C-PAP machine. Little mask fits over my nose and forces air into me while I sleep. (sleep apnea). While it doesn't LOOK like a DV helmet, etc, it does have that fsssss-pok sound when you breathe.

Now I can imagine somebody out there actually trying to buy a replica of Darth Vader's helmet from ILM just to see some poor schmuck DOT guy's reaction(most likely not amused). Some of us are big geeks like that.

 

I'd get a wookie mask.. but then, I pretty much don't need one

 

spare boots to toss in the side box, gloves.

later on a air chuck and hose for airing up tires... sometimes you can add a little to get where your going instead of waiting in line at the truckstop.

c.b. would be really nice for traffic reports.

and oh my god.... get a hook for pulling the fifth wheel to unhook trailers... some of those things are so nasty you don't want to touch them even with gloves on. $13 at the J.

lastly, a toothbrush and use the dang thing on your teeth...

lots of pens (they get lost)

Shower stuff and toiletries

 

Add a fly swatter to the list. I guarantee a persistent fly can drive you absolutely insane.

cell phone
money (sucks driving anywhere without a dollar in your pocket to stop and get a coke)
and cigarrettes & lighter

Oh and if I was a driver my legal log book (which I have my computer on the truck I would be using drivers daily log)

 

I want Logs to come with me for a week and help me log legal like >=D
