If I may offer a good word, you may want to consider living near the city that has the people & culture you like the most before you consider the cost of taxes, although, taxes would be a close second in my list of priorities for establishing a business. I presently live in Central OH but I would probably fit in best around TN. What political climate do you prefer? In OH, you will have a continuous swing in what political party holds the governor's office & congressional representatives. Indiana & TN seem consistently level-headed & seem to vote consistently conservative, and that will most likely have a large impact on your taxes when compared to a state like OH over the next 20-30 yrs.

Tennessee is hard to beat, I like Knoxville, anywhere around it, good hub, decent people, more blue collar than Nashville. Opportunity for Trucking in both, but cost of Living in Nashville is high. Only thing is, there’s a lot of Tennessee based Carriers already. It’s hard to get Freight out of there. One overlooked place is Fort Wayne In. It’s a decent place. All the old rust belt cities are a lot more affordable than most think. Not like it used to be, Kalamazoo isn’t bad either. Grand Rapids is usually always pretty good. Lansing, no way. Dead town. Might as well be in Flint. They’re all too cold, and subject to manufacturing cycles. Add Louisville.

Telegraph is a ghost town on State Highway 377, 13 miles (20 km) southwest of Junction, in Kimble County, Texas, United States.
