Location, seniority means everything. In the northeast, ODFL and Praxair are 100k a yr jobs. Not sure about other parts of the country

If you're talking about being an OTR company driver, there really aren't that many companies paying 1500 - 2000 per week. That's a stretch with any company(local or OTR), especially if you live in the south. Only the top 5 to 10 percent at every outfit see that money. Probably the same percentage in the whole industry. I'm thinking 1000 - 1300 is probably about the average these days. The ones that pay more than that, that are reputable, they're probably not hiring

Best paying job in the country.
Cartel trucking out of eagle pass tx.
Small tight knit family run operation.
Pay is 840,000 per year. Cash.
    No sign on bonus though.

    Only 2 loads per month.
    All drop and hook.
One way pays 35,000. Then you deadhead back.
San Antonio to Chicago is 1260 miles. That's 27.75 per mile to the truck. They don't bother with the cheap freight.

All you have to do is pick up a pre loaded trailer.
It'll be sitting behind some gas station on highway
57 coming out of eagle pass, somewhere north of the border Patrol check point.
So you don't have to worry about those pesky
Border patrol agents asking you if your an American.

They'll tell you the exact location when it's all
Loaded up and ready for shipment.
Drop your empty next to it,hook up to the loaded trailer then head towards Chicago.

Do not break the seal. That voids the contract.
Punishable by hanging your headless body
    From an overpass.
If Anybody ask what your hauling, just say whatever
    They wrote on the bills.

Cartel trucking requires a check call every day by 9 am.
Just to see how every things going.
Fail to make check call voids contract.
Punishable by dumping you alive into a 55 gallon barrel
    Of flesh dissolving acid.

Follow thier rules and routing exactly. Step by step.
Out of route miles voids contract.
Punishable by burying your whole family alive
    Somewhere in the Texas desert.

The load runs every 2 weeks.
    35,000 per load, that's 70 grand a month cash.
UPS and FedEx ain't got nothing on this deal.

Cartel trucking is a driver friendly company.
They won't make you go to Chicago if you
    Don't want too.
If you tell tell them ahead of time they'll set up
    A swap in springfield,mo.

But you only get 20 grand for that.
The other driver gets the other 15 grand to
    Finish the trip.
    That's up to you.

If you need the money and decide to take it the whole
Way to Chicago, you'll have a 2 am delivery to some
    Abandoned building in downtown Chicago.
Back into whatever door they tell you, lock your
Doors and don't get out of the truck for any reason.

Some Spanish speaking guy with a bunch of ms13
Tattoos all over him will let you know when your empty.
You don't even need a signed bill of lading to get paid.
No need to worry about calling cartel trucking if the
Freight is damaged or a couple boxes short.
    You'll know there's a problem when 3 guys with
Machine guns open fire on your truck. With you in it.

Once the receiver notifies cartel trucking that
Everything is good. You'll be free to leave and
    Head back for another one.
It's a dedicated lifetime job. That route is yours
Whether you like it or not till you either die or disappear.
    Whatever comes first.

That's a real job people. some of the names have
Been changed to protect the innocent.
That job was offered to me about 5 years ago.
I didn't have the you know what to do it.
I would've had a heart attack just rolling thru the coops.
There like a mega, there always hiring.

I'm sorry Walmart doesn't pay that anymore. But most of your trucking companies in the North Dakota oil fields pay that.

About 65 percent of trucking companies I west Texas pay that also. As for LTL you will only make that kind of pay on line haul. Not on local p&d. But there are a plenty of $80-$100k p/year companies. But you normally have to find them!!!

I talked to a cartel trucking recruiter once. But he had no tattoos and spoke English very well. And was well dressed with a golden gun like the guy off of 007.

After completing his boots, he then offered me a chance to afford such boots and other nice things. But I turned him down in Spanish.

However it depends on witch cartel trucking you want to work for. Big Bend National, Laredo outlaws, or Brownsville Head Bussers

Big Bend is pretty cool. The outlaws have border patrol on payroll. But those Brownsville guys will use you once and blow your head wide open!!! Or just cut it off with a chainsaw!!!

He sure had a nice pistola though.
