Nothing wrong with an automatic but I must ask why does it have to be an automatic?Now answer to your question you don't need a husband for him to ride with you.I think all companies could care less but you may have to wait 60 or 90 days before your man is eligible to ride with you.Thats something you'll need to ask your recruiter.

 

Some companies are restrictive in that regard.

The one I'm with specifies spouses or children only and only April-October No girlfriend/boyfriend, live ins or 'friends'. You gotta be married or they don't go.

Nobody rides during winter months

 

Your company has some strict poilicies don't they?But if its for safety reasons nothing wrong with that.

 

lol well the spouse restriction I'm sure comes from it being a very conservative and privately owned company.

The winter restriction is pretty obvious.

Given the bigger picture of how well they pay, nice and well maintained equipment, every weekend home and a good benefit package it's a small annoyance and not worth complaining about. Does kinda suck for us though because the wife likes to go but it also affords us a lifestyle where she doesn't have to work so it's kind of a wash either way.

My previous company was very liberal it didn't matter who went or when but it was also for half the pay in cheap stripped down crapcadias
