All the ones I've seen were the smaller body style Volvo. Since I have an antenna system designed specifically for the Volvo 780 I've made a point of noticing that model body style every time I see one and making a mental note of the company name on the door of the truck. It seems like it's mostly owner-operators that run that body style truck since most fleets only offer the smaller body style to their company drivers. There's a few companies that offer the 770 and 780 body style to the company drivers but not very many and the ones that I've noticed are not companies I would want to work for even though the Volvo 770 / 780 is my favorite body style truck.

Van Wyk at least used to run almost exclusively the bigger Volvos. But they are buying some kenworths lately.

They used to buy and still run some 730’s which is the midroof version of the 780, they’re buying 760’s now

Can’t fault a man for knowing what he wants. Everybody lately keeps saying “it’s a driver’s market. Don’t settle”. So there you go.

And the dumazz owners ops were the main group screaming bloody murder about the eLog mandate late last year. I tried to tell them it would be the best thing to happen to them but no, they would hear none of it. They were going to go broke or die under eLog requirements.

And now they want to change the HOS so they can go right back to hauling for free once again... People really are ignorant at times.
