Produce are the staples. All vegetables were fresh at some point. Even that TV dinner has produce that was hauled to the food processor. That bag of birds eye viola, for the 20 something year olds that don’t know how to cook has vedgies that we’re hauled by a produce hauler before if got put in that bag. Unless people are starving, we are hauling. Reefer humming can be the most beautiful song! Don’t mind spending a day to load. It’s all in the bank.

Yeap, but if inflation keeps going....folks are going to start making some real choices in what they consume. Just like the great depression. Whats for dinner......soup. how about tomorrow? Soup.

I haul what goes in the soup can. If all eat just soup and the ingredients in the soup, those ingredients will go up in price and other ingredients go down. It will be ok. You won’t just all eat soup. I’ll bring ya a truck load of taters if you want. Just hit me up. There a hot commodity right now. Get them before their gone!

Don’t worry about if he closes down.If he does just find a new job there’s plenty out there.

Third generation, it’s what we do. I stepped onto my own last year. Was a owner operator and a company driver before. Started moving away from military and contracting and to driving in 2015.

Not many. Next 6-18 mos. probably quite a few of the most recent New Entrants. If I had to guess, maybe up to half are already headed that way, and have no idea yet.

10 4 on the soup and PBJs , line was a half mile long at the food bank giveaway , it made the local news.
Georgia Pacific's green bay mill is closing , clearwater and kc already closed so will see who bites the dust next.
