    • How long have you had your CDL?
    • How much CDL driving experience do you have?
    • What CDL endorsements (if any) do you have?
    • What is your zip code there in Iowa?
    • What type(s) of freight interest you the most?
    • How long are you willing/able to stay out from home?
    • Any accidents/incidents/citations?
The more of the above you can offer.....the better the answers will be, later....

Schuster got me to the east coast regularly. They're based out of Le Mars.

I'm surprised you're having trouble finding companies with regular east coast freight. It's one of the most common lanes in trucking and most of the east coast is a place most drivers prefer to avoid.

    Swift runs everywhere.
I am Great Lakes Region so don't go to those places. Sometimes I have to turn down loads going there.

    Rather curious though.
Why do you want to go to the east coast?

You shouldn't have ANY problem finding a company that goes east as lots of drivers don't want that!!!

That all this place goes. One of my neighbors has been doing power only from Morgan's foods down to Atlanta. Seems pretty low paying but he likes it enough.

I grew up in NW Iowa and worked for both Schusters in Le Mars and more recently Van Wyk in Sheldon. Went all over with Schusters (Miami, LA, NYC, Maine, etc) wheres Van Wyk was more northern East Coast (anywhere from Boston down to south to Virginia where they have a small terminal to some NC spots).
I moved to FL few years ago and thought about going with Heyl out of Akron as they have a terminal in the central part of the state and they might work best for you. They run in a majority of the states you were wanting.
