He has tickets, so out of those 3, Stevens might hire him. Worth a try at least.

the werner acct might be a little more of a normal schedule, once you have been to certain stores you will know the best way to get into them the next time you go, the trick is to make it through the first few times without hitting something but if you go back to the same stores it will get easier. the account or customers are what matter more than the company. sometimes. so its what you think will be the best way to keep driving and clean up your record.

Many of us "seasoned" drivers may say, some choice, but the truth is, new drivers will almost always take it in the shorts. Since I'm not sure pay is any different, I'd go with the least amount of physical work. I always felt bad for those "Dollar Store" deliveries, these's usually one person, paid minimum wage, running the register, and the driver sits. Heck, I'd take a Sysco load over those Dollar Store loads. Again, "2nd chance" companies make me powerful nervous,,,

Dollar store accounts have ruined many rookies careers. As a rookie, your backing skills are going to suck. Trying to blindsided back off at a busy street while impatient four wheelers are honking and doing anything to get around you, will frazzle your nerves and force you into effing up. There is a reason seasoned drivers will not touch Dollar Accounts. They are handed off to rookies that have no business on such an account. They have a couple of incidents, or worse, then get fired. At that point you may be UNHIRABLE. Since this is your "second chance" company due apparently to your driving record, DO NOT take the Dollar job. Find an OTR gig and keep your record clean for a year or so. If you do that, you will be hireable by many more desirable companies. Good luck

as a newbie, you'll be "canned" doing dedicated if you have a wreck, and that'll "wreck" you from getting another job.slow.rider and tscottme Thank this. -
Do not do dollar general. I don’t understand why anyone does that. I did that for a short time 20+ years ago and the pay hasn’t changed. That amazed me when I learned that and the risks you are taking on for no more pay is insane. Ask anyone on it and the only reason they give for doing it is lame excuses like I like the exercise... ok, but you’re still a slave and not being paid what you are worth. And the home time... to me that isn’t a good enough reason. That dollar general stuff needs to pay better IMO to make it worth it.
