Generally smaller operations. Like the Quality Carriers terminal in Joliet pays percentage, but it ends up matching Linden’s mileage next door give or take. Their trucks are even governed at the same speed lol and their offices are the same size but one has red trucks the other blue trucks. I do believe that percentage is better. Because dispatch can’t really screw you with short runs. But your rates can drop. So idk it’s a wash. Just compare take homes with other drivers.
