Big cams built between the big cam1's and the big cam 111's. That was a typo though, I meant big cam 111. lol and the ones I got that kind of mileage was 400 horse, never got quite as good with a 350.

    07 w9 C15.

3.5 when loaded. 5 when empty. In the summer.

    It's worse in the winter.

where you running at and what kind of loads. I get 5 or less and that is half empty miles, but I am getting better than most. A couple of the new detroit guys are claiming to be close to what I am getting, and I know some of the older mechanical cats are doing a little better than I do.

Nope. I pull tank with baffles.

HH and flatbeds don't get good mileage. Hoods don't get good mileage. Cat's don't get good mileage.
And 07 is the worse year for mileage. I have yet to see an 07 anything get decent.

The 12 FL with dd13 got 6 pulling flat. The 16 with dd15 got 6.5 pulling flat. It had more hp then the 12.

The newer FL's are getting 8 or better. Pulling van.

The OP never said what he intends to do. lease or authority, or any CA.

Wow, are we talking just 80,000 gross getting that with your cat? I get that kind of mileage pulling double tankers on the pavement. My neighbor finally traded it off but he ran a 379x with a 625 accert he bought new, it was not terrible on fuel and got better than he does now with his new one, with a cummins.

I was never an accert fan myself, but that would be hard to swallow.
As far as the hoods, I only know of one slope nose that gets comparable mileage to mine running where we do, it is a new with a detroit, so I will stick with an old hood and stay away from the emmissions, elds and that 4 grand a month payment. lol

If your buying a cheap truck, know how to work on it or have someone that coach you through it.

Otherwise I'd be looking for a private sale from an owner OP that had the truck for years that was maintained well.
