The two are def. different because I hear of plenty a people passing a co. test for rubbin a curb but DMV don't like it. A guy in the same school I was in failed for letting a car squeez between him and the curb on a rt hand turn. He may have maybe been ok if he waited for the car to make a move but he didn't. He proceeded and just about ran the 4 wheeler off the road compleatly!Ya on his very 1st turn. Be careful and use your head. Go slow and always think about what you have to do next. The tester will always give you a heads up on what they want you to do next so you can think it through.
What constitutes failing a truck driving test?

A guy I went to CDL school with in 2003 failed just out of the parking lot we started in. He pulled out, built up some speed, and the light he was approaching turned yellow. He decided to go through it, then he second guessed his decision, and ended up locking the brakes up and coming to a complete stop in the middle of the intersection. Yeah, it was pretty much over at that point.
I maintain my speed on a green light, if I'm a good distance from it I'm ready to stop. I will only go through a yellow light if I think I can't safely stop behind the line before it goes red. -
True story: on the day of my road test we had to go put fuel in the tanks so I was the one driving up there and got to fuel it up. The tanks took exactly 66.6 gallons.
On my road test the number of points I missed was 13.
..freaky!!.... -
I know where you are coming from. I once won $1199 at Bingo one night. My card number was 666 and I won on B13. Strange. -
Weird stuff, eh? Thanks again for the rest of the advice guys.
