Just wanted to see what converter boxes everyone was using in their truck. My husband has requested one for Christmas and I've looked at several with mixed reviews. He just has an older analog tv/vcr combo and is using the truck antenna. He likes to get local stations when stopped for weather, ect. So any help about these boxes would be great.
What converter box to buy?

Oh...convert DIGITAL to ANALOG.
Don't use one (in truck or home). Have Satellite TV in truck, and watch HULU at times.... -
Don't have a converter box at home or the road as well.
Have not watched local tv at home in over 5 years. I guess they are still there. Maybe I should check. -
Got Sat TV that week. -
more important than which brand of converter box is a good antenna

i use the Apex DT502 got it at target or kmart. works good for me usually get several channels and has on screen guide too. of course with these pictures are clear but any interference (like a truck driving past you) will cut out the signal for a minute. good luck!
