Some of us thrive on you cannot back here.. Guess what.. That's a bet Im willing to take you up on. It's a form of ... gratification to have people saying you cant back there and see after a time you are indeed there.
At the end of the day Daycabs get into places sleeper trucks should not. And yard dogs will get everyone backed in because they do it all the time.

X1 is right.....gets to be kinda fun having the challenge.
Don't know if it was smart...but I once HAD to dump my end-dump (frameless) where the tractor was exactly 90° from the trailer. Almost easier...as I had a great view of the trailer going up. On asphalt flat street obviously.Dominick253 and x1Heavy Thank this. -
The way things are unfolding I am almost positive this isn't a friend. Look up OP's threads on having trouble backing in school etc.
Dominick253, x1Heavy and Lepton1 Thank this. -

Any city P&D job will have you backing in a safe environment with a plethora of parking all around you and definitely no cars whizzing by while you're trying to reverse.
x1Heavy and Canned Spam Thank this. -
Even a dedicated route with what SHOULD be easy docks to hit will screw you up when the place suddenly decides to store all their seasonal crap, broken carts, old shelving, etc. in the dock area. ...I'm looking at you, Home Depot.
Dominick253, x1Heavy and tinytim Thank this. -
It doesn't matter. The easy back today can be a pain tomorrow, depending on what obstacles are in your way now, that weren't there yesterday.
Dominick253 and x1Heavy Thank this. -
x1Heavy Thanks this.

In my career I have seen the best backing are on Toyota dedicated accounts....a few suppliers might be tight but not many.
x1Heavy Thanks this.
