What device do you use for trucking purpose?

Samsung S7 Active for Trucker Path, Google Maps/Earth, the truck stop apps, email, phone, streaming audio to the truck radio, and general surfing and YouTube videos (NOT WHILE DRIVING!).

Samsung Tab3 4G tablet tethered (for now) to the phone for Google Maps navigation--mostly overview because of the tether data limitation, but that will change when I can get it added to the phone plane & it's own phone line for unlimited data.

Also planning on a drive cam with at least one rear camera, maybe more, still researching that.

 

Im local so my using a gps is kinda dumb, but I keep the PM info in there and it counts my mileage to remind me.

Some of us carried paper maps, book maps and a pencil with ledger pad. Whatever you have on that plus a pile of quarters for the payphone...

Those were the days.

I actually have some lamp oil and hurricane lanterns on hand. However our power situation has been pretty reliable thus far since they replaced the main patch cable outside.

 

I think I am going to get an aeropress..how do you heat your water for it ?
