I will not even get into high school jobs, and before. Just too many.
1. U.S. Army Calvary scout.
2. Delivered pizzas for a month or so (did this in high school for a while also)
3. Truck driving school, got A, hardly used it, drove mostly dumps with occasional low boy load. 6 years.
4. College. 4 years. Drove trucks for old company summers and winter break.
5. Ski instructor winters for several years. 1 summer at boat yard as mechanic. 2 summers at log home company, sold building supply's, and ran warehouse.
6. Childcare counselor with court placed youth. Worked in units then group home, 5 yrs.
7. Back to driving. Cement mixers, Bulk trailers, End Dumps. All for same company. 1.2 years.
8. Decided it was time to check out OTR trucking, and here I am.
I probably missed a few things. And school jobs were varied, from dish washing, mowing lawns, prep cook, houseman at conference center, pizza delivery, sweeping floors, cash register and stock boy at drugstore, tearing down GM automatic transmissions to see if they could be rebuilt...ect ect
What did YOU do before driving a land barge?

Head coach a 250 member age group swim team for 23 years. I have been fortunate enough to coach US National teams in developmental camps at the Olympic Training Center. My team won back to back YMCA national championships in 2000 and 2001. I also ran a pool management company for several summers. At one point we were staffing 17 community pools. That was a nightmare.

It is always fun seeing how many former military people drive trucks.
We were all willing to fight and die for our country in the service. We went for various reasons, but all of us wanted to serve our country.
Now we drive trucks. So we are the largest group of service professionals in this country. We serve our country still. We are still willing to put our lives on the line every day on Americas roads, to insure that Americans have all the things they think they need.
And once again, we don't do it for the honor or the glory (truckers get none of that), we just do it anyway. -
and nobody pays any attention to either (military or truck driver) until something bad happens then its all over the news blaming the entire military or trucking industry... -

Hey lv gn
Looks like you are a fellow drag racer, I run at Top Gun .
10 years journeyman GM , Mazda , Subaru parts counterman. Started as a delivery driver and worked my way up, still to this day the best paying job I've ever had.
1988 to 2005 owned 4wd parts & service shop in Sacramento, mostly Jeeps , we did everything engines, trans , tcases, modifications, restorations. Sold the buisness in Aug 05 .
Went to truck school in Sept 05 in Sparks , Nv.
While looking for a decent driving job I ran a drilling machine working with fence contractors.
Moved to Nevada Sept 06 , drove propane delivery truck , Milk tanker , Intermodal containers. All low wages, pitiful
Now work for US Mail contractor , 48 ft vans drop & hook , meet the Vegas driver in Tonapah, swap and go home. Decent wage for Nevada but bid run so I get 10 hours straight time no matter what.
I'd like to find a regional job maybe out a couple days a week and home on weekends . -
