I punch in load weight, My Chicken wing sets angle for deflection, and away we go. It's an aero tool. I pickup about .2-3 MPG . Works good coast to coast. Just eye candy otherwise.

I bought my first truck in early 99' paid $15,250 cash along with trailer. did not buy the preferred hood & chrome.bought a intl coe from walmart with 400,000 miles. still driving it.
no write off on equip, but since I had no payments & nothing to write off, I bought a piece of property every year to use as tax write off & put money in property that appreciates rather than a truck that depreciates. 5-7 year mortgages, on property. put a lil money in repairs, plus ins, property tax, e.t.c. collect rent on several now, plus I have land without any dwellings on them. 13 years in trucking, still in my first truck with 25 properties total with 1 mobile home, 1, 2 story house , 5 other single story homes, & commercial property where a developer wanted to lease my land for 5 years & he built a deli business on it, with all utilities, pavement, e.t.c. after the 5 years was up 2 years ago the building & everything is now mine, but he still leases the property. everything paid by a truck without truck payments. that is my r.o.i. from trucking. -
Now that's where I'd like to go. Good job! There was a thread where some made comments about "being rich" and what that means. I suppose it is all relative to whatever anyone happens to think. To me it means the ability to live a comfortable life and not have to worry about bills. And by that I don;t mean plunking down cash for a Ferrari whenever you wantone, however nice that might be if one can, LoL.. It doesn't mean you have to be Bill Gates. It doesn't even mean you have to be a multimillionaire. Not to me it doesn't. As long as you have a roof over your head and not to worry about keeping the lights on and food on the table, well, really the only thing you have to work for is you, and maybe retirement if that's a goal - you're able to enjoy life like this - and you're not working a lifetime to make the banks rich!!!
