Unless I am mistaken don't the cigarette lighters pull maybe 200 watts. I understand tv and things like that are an option but at a certain extent it just becomes mundane. I was really wondering what drivers do to breakup the monotony

The time spent in your sleeper isn't really what your gunna be worried about after driving 700 miles... tv's and game systems are nice but it's the time behind the wheel that can get monotonous.

I remedy this by basically going insane. I feel bad for whoever watches this #### camera.... probably wondering what kind of maniac they got in there truck

Ok i do understand. Ive got two uncles that have been driving for 30 plus years combined mostly otr. Ive ridden with them a few times and enjoyed it for the most part of course they've both told me the 600 plus miles daily can get pretty repetitive but they used to always use radio and those taking books that are read to you

Basically what it boils down to is everyone of us have our own thing we do to relax or chill or make the miles go by. I bs in the cb I rock out to my iPod or sat radio or I like mentioned go compleatly ####### insane. (Actually just found something called pyro mini that would let me shoot fireballs from my wrist at 4 wheelers :) ) butwhile some of us have common activities (I know I wasent the first to mention an Xbox or similar) but you gotta find out what works for you. Some people I know like nothing in there sleeper but auplies for the road and a pillow others, game systems tv's and a bunch of movies and tv shows and everywhere inbetween. Once your out here a little while your figure out what you want in your sleeper, and what you want behind the wheel. It really don't take long to realize what you want when you got 11 hours a day to figure it out.

Lots of options with an inverter. Not so many without.

Whenever I'm out on the road overnight or for a longer trip, I like a combination of a laptop for games/movies, phone for internet and books for reading. Granted, I don't usually have much time in the evenings, but more recently I've been doing a run that's pretty much 7 am - 5 pm days, since all the customers hold regular business hours.

So I get a lot of evening time, lol.
