What do I need to set up my mobile CB in my house?

Sirio quality makes this a serious consideration. From a serious guy. I’m ancient, but this guy was declaiming Maxwells Equations before I could shave. (ha!).

Siro - Walmart, $70 plus shipping. it is better than most, I prefer my old nice penetrator from the '70s. Oh look there it is on the tower now.

 

What advice (and where) about lightning & bonding, etc, should he research for an outdoor placement?

 

I figured you guys can fill him in on that, it is simple stuff to explain, my fingers are tired from all this typing I did for the past week.

I do plan to update my thread as I get a power supply and antenna together, and set up my rig. Should be talking it up in the CB world in a just a few weeks if all goes well.

 

Seen some cool indoor dipoles that people have up in their atics rafters..They do the jam thing and talk all over with good responces..

 

This slinky dipole for 49.00 bucks on ebay comes with 50 ft of coax, I wonder if it is worth a try?
