What do I need to set up my mobile CB in my house?

    Sirio quality makes this a serious consideration. From a serious guy. I’m ancient, but this guy was declaiming Maxwells Equations before I could shave. (ha!).

    KRACO CB likely better than their 8-track players (had one). More info on the radio is at CB TRICKS as well as CB Radio Museum.

    Siro - Walmart, $70 plus shipping. it is better than most, I prefer my old nice penetrator from the '70s. Oh look there it is on the tower now.

    What advice (and where) about lightning & bonding, etc, should he research for an outdoor placement?

    I do plan to update my thread as I get a power supply and antenna together, and set up my rig. Should be talking it up in the CB world in a just a few weeks if all goes well. :)

    Seen some cool indoor dipoles that people have up in their atics rafters..They do the jam thing and talk all over with good responces..
