Hi all,
I am just a regular (non trucker) on the road. I just got a CB, but I wanted to reach out to you all and ask what communication devices do you most use these days? Ham,cb,phone, vhf/uhf, frs, satellite......
My purpose for asking is to understand what way someone like myself can best get information on the highway and be in the loop for what is passed a long should there be an accident or road detour....
Thank you for any insight!
What do most truckers use to communicate with these days?

Basically nothing nowadays. Most drivers are stuck up driving in their own little world oblivious to the hazards ahead of them.
Personally I still use the CB channel 19 in most regions.RET423, fargonaz, rabbiporkchop and 5 others Thank this. -
