What do single OTR truckers do with their possessions

I agree. But everything is relative. I can see a 1,000 sq ft home and a few acres for half that in other places across the US, [that are far from cities] But again, everything is relative to what's being discussed and where it is.

But lot's of those "cheaper options" are 100-200 miles from anywhere.

With truckers and relative to keeping costs down, it's still "location, location, location". It's a difficult balancing act between affordability, access, location, and needs and/or preferences

 

My view is when my truck and car are paid off ill spend some money ...until then big bucks for a house or apt are a complete waste of money when I'm only home about 5 days a month.
Girlfriend is a nice lady but I don't have a great track record with long term relationships and won't take chance on having the rug jerked out from under me again ..its her house and woman are fickle lol.
Things are staying on my terms .

 

When I drove for Western Express it was mine for the two months. Hard to work for some one and have them forget how to pay you, This pic was to show the company it needed to be cleaned. IE look at the fuel tank.
Oh and Sorrento isnt a island. Maps might portray it, yet at the thinnest point of the peninsula it is a mile wide. Last time I checked a island meant surrounded by water.

Ill have to look that up ! Lol....she's a great gal don't get me wrong and she wants me to move in buttttttt they tend to change their minds and leave me holding the bag .
This way if she says see ya turkey it's just back to work or play in my new shop.
Can park my truck there too.
