What do the blue and green led lights on the windshield sensor mean?

I know if you hit a bump or stop abruptly that the green will flash, and I assume it means the maneuver is being reviewed. I could be wrong though. What’s the blue light mean when it blinks? Also, at times, I’ve seen both leds go blue and stay that way for a bit. Any thoughts?

I don't watch the lights because I am watching the road.

But I think the blue is when it is transmitting something.

I watch the road too, but it goes off in your peripheral vision and you are drawn to it.

I've never figured out those lights and haven't really tried. To me the drive cam stuff is more amusing than anything else. When I'm driving along and something happens that "I" think will set off the camera and give me some 'event', usually nothing shows up. But, when I do have some event, I'll look at it and it always seems like a nothing burger to me. IDK. Since it 'misses' those times I think it probably should have gone off, I just roll with the other times when I do get some event and I think it's nothing.
About a month ago, I did have a situation (hard brake) and thought it might have triggered something, and then it actually did so up as an event.
Fortunately, never have enough events of any consequence to be any issues or problems so I just kinda chuckle at the whole thing.

Add in some Rain-X windshield washer fluid additive with that.
That is the best stuff since the original Rain-X.

Top green blinking means it's recording, but that's nothing to worry about if that's the only light that is blinking. Nothing is being sent to the smart drive company.

Now if the top green light turns blue and the bottom blue light starts blinking at the same time about a couple of minutes after the top green light started blinking, that means that the system is uploading your driving event to the smart drive company for review.
