What do they do in US Xpress orientation?

    What does the road test consist of at usx (road?, backing?, manuevers? etc etc)? do you take it with many people in the truck? is it done on a simulator? etc etc...

    At orientation we don't use the simulator that is for upgrade after your 120 hours.
    The road test is easy just need to show you can be trained. Backing was just straight backing.

    no alley docks? so even tho i have a cdl they still will put me in training? which is totally fine with me.

    No alley dock before you go out with trainer.
    No training if you have current OTR experiance.

    It would be extremely nice to hear what the actual orientation consists of... in detail... without anyone becoming a condecending jagoff... I am going to shippensberg in a few weeks, for my first driving job, and hey believe it or not I AM NERVOUS AS %&@$ about the process. I invested a substantial chunk of my savings into getting the license, and am not looking forward to getting screwed out of finding a job over some stupid detail. So if anyone has actually gone through the orientation process with U.S. Xpress, Please, in detail, describe the expirence for someone who has never been through an orientation for a major trucking company.

    DID NOT SEE THE DATE TILL NOW...LOL...AUG,23 2012 DOES ANY ONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT orientation IN CHICAGO ILL...WHAT TO EXPECT..AND HOW NOT TO BE SENT HOME..LOL..
