that's kinda my thought, if he makes it home without any issues. the break valve needs to be replaced probably because of a dried out seal. dryed out seal on the oil line for the turbo. that truck will probably spring leaks left and right you fire it up and try to go very far with it without going threw and replacing several weather cracked hoses ect before taking off. not saying don't buy it but plan on spending a little time and money making sure its road worthy before you head for home with it.

that truck has obviously sat alot in its life

Get it. And then go laugh at us poor saps who are making payments :) I'd love to snag a nice cabover myself.

I remember feeling like I was on top of the world when I was driving an 86 cabover freightliner for a guy shortly after I started driving. Had a 3406 with dual stacks, west coast bumper on all polished aluminum wheels, first cool truck I ever drove, would love to find another like it someday. As far as the comment made about having to get in and out of one numerous times a day, I think theirs many in this field that might benefit from that :)

Did you get that from Diesel Dummy? He had a truck just like that for sale a month or so ago. It does look nice. I do see a huge advantage to a cab over, after maneuvering my 265" wb Western Star, it would be like driving a car.

Nope, I got mine in rougher shape from a guy in Edmonton AB. I put alotta work into it to make it perform the way it does. Its a 98 N14 @525, 18 spd n 46k rears. Got it for 12k

As far as like drivin a car, yes, somewhat, but if the car had no suspension n solid rubber tires would be more like it haha.

I wouldn't buy it without going in person to inspect it. Don't drive it; haul it home and fix it up. Price is right. Can't lose.

I let it go...sadly. It would be a 4000 mile rounder for me to go down there n haul it back. It sold for 3350 n someone got a hell of a deal. Hope they live close by!
