The tires will run cooler which in turn causes them to last longer, perhaps a couple 100 thousand miles longer. It does however have one major drawback. It makes it almost impossible to slide the tandems. Unless a wheel is bent enough to act as a wheel chock.

 

I don't have sliding tandems
So i hooked my up to to lube the fifth wheel
I had to put a metering valve on. It took some experimenting but I have have it set to lube the fifth wheel after 1431 right or left turns ..

 

Boat hooked up - check
