What if you turn right and there is a yellow car in your way? Do you still get the lube?

I looked to see if you'd included checking the 5 th wheel to see if someone had pulled the catch sure enough under #13 it was there, I would have no problems voting for you in a nomination for the most professional driver in the USA. All great points keep up the good work.

The most professional drivers can tell a leak if they see it, know disc brakes from drum brakes, and can tell gear lube from grease. Not saying he is not a great driver, but there is more to being the most professional driver in the USA than walking around the truck looking at eleventy-8 things, without really understanding there functions. When I think of a true professional driver, he is not only a good driver, he is capable of repairing literally anything on his own truck that breaks. A “drive all day, wrench all night if necessary”, type of driver. He wears jeans, work boots, NO FLIP FLOPS ALLOWED, and will walk over to see if a driver with his hood up needs anything. He never, but never will park in the fuel island while he goes into the truck stop to buy a coffee or a sandwich, or drop a deuce, or whatever. And, I’ve never seen a professional driver with his fungusy foot on the dash while he’s driving. Also, some of the most professional drivers around aren’t driving brand new trucks, but even if it’s a 1985, he will know the feel of his ride, and if something goes bad, he will know. Trucking isn’t a job, it’s a lifestyle, and these trucking schools haven’t figured out how to pass that info on. Nothing wrong with that thorough checklist, but there is more than that to being the most professional driver in the USA. Over and out!
