Most of my career I did coast-to-coast runs as a team driver/trainer, and I hardly took any hometime. I would routinely drive 3,500 miles per week. I would average around 175,000 miles per year.
1.5 million miles was an estimate. It is probably more like 1.35 million or 1.4 million. I rounded up 1.5 million because it is a good, round number.
