What do you call it when they customize their truck to have an extra long catwalk?

Is this truck in the picture loading at Jackson Ms off I-220? I see him on the ramp in Batesville on I55 several times a week. Good looking truck, and I love about a 300-310 wheel base.

Amen! I get the “maximize your profits” mindset, but given the choice between a plain white plastic truck hauling a plain van trailer, or a 300 inch wheel base custom conventional or cabover with lights and a spread axle trailer, polished out, I will take the latter every time.

280wb truck is workable, the folks who have 300+ are more along the line of hobby truckers..making money isn’t whats driving em, not saying there isn’t any guys chasing dollars with rigs like that but majority are hobbyist. Not saying I wouldn’t love to be in that crowd either lol just my 2cents..

If you buy a 300" tractor you should know what work you going to be doing.

If it looks like a hobby that probably means your having more fun than a driver in a never washed, beat up 3500 mile a week, run it till it breaks and leave it rig
