I carry probably a weeks worth of canned food. And I'm tempted to heat up a can of Chunky Beef Vegetable right now while I'm waiting, I'm being unloaded, but I'm fixing to go over Cabbage, through Utah & Wyoming, and down into Denver for two days.
And it is the middle of frigging winter, and that food might be needed lol.

 

And for The Love of God, make sure you have some decent coffee with you.

 

Why I do not have a coffee pot? Or kurig?

What did you find out about your truck?

 

I want a French press. But would do no good if I can not heat the water. I would need to go in and use a microwave to heat my distilled water.

 

Get a smaller "electric kettle" if you have a 1500 watt inverter

I got a dozen of these for $1 each on eBay. They work excellent however you must upgrade the wiring to 16 ga. or the current wiring will melt. They boil a cup of water in 3 minutes
