If they didn’t chase you down, then no need to worry about it. Although if you were seen while he was perhaps busy with another truck, they might be looking for you on your next trip through there.Labrador and MikeyThe rascal Thank this. -
I blew one in GA accidentally. Was unloaded just wasn’t paying attention.
Anyway he ran me down and once he realized that I legitimately missed it just wrote me a warning and done a level 3 inspection…the basic one..rekon that’s level 3
Now I have also intentionally ran them and have gotten lucky those times!
Just luck of the drawLabrador Thanks this. -

In Oregon if you blow the scale they will send you a nice ticket. They have photo enforcement.

This was the northbound scale Goreville Illinois on 57.

Doesn’t matter what scale it is. If Oregon has photo enforcement I would assume most other state utilize a similar system
To be honest driving past a scale is deliberate they have so many signs letting you know you’re coming up on one. I’ve never missed a scale on accident. Put your phone down and pay attentionLabrador Thanks this. -

wasn’t on my phone. I do pay attention. I deliberately blew the scale because I couldn’t get the trailer to weigh legal. Picked it up from another driver in my company we turned at the the i24 truck plaza in Manchester and it was 3am. I had no one to contact st the company. I wasn’t going to sit there until business hours for them to send me somewhere and wait even longer for the load to be reworked.Labrador Thanks this.
