I worked at the Pilot in San Antonio for a few months between jobs and there were many times where a driver would pull into the fuel island and go inside and eat at the Subway in the restraunt with out getting it to go and would take 30-45 min. What do you do....

I always parked my truck in the parking area then went inside to eat or whatever else.

get the company's phone number and his truck number call the company tell them you work for so and so truckstop and you do not appreciate the person driving truck XXXX blocking the pumps for more than 15 min but tell them how much time he actually took to move the truck.
Or even better call the wercker to come get it.:biggrin_25525:
I do park in front of the fuel island but I pull through so someone can get fuel If it is only going to be a few miniutes for me to grab a quick bite to go or take a leak really quick.
I am always out of there before the guy behind me gets done fueling that way I am not holding up the line.

I almost always at least pull clear of the fuel islands, if not go park before heading in. The only time I have not is when 3/4, or more, of the islands are empty, in which case it's a pretty safe bet that my short trip inside to use the bathroom and sign my receipt is not going to hinder anyone else's access. If it's even a little busy then I always pull ahead and if I intend to be more than about 10 minutes I will go park. It's the polite thing to do....

but then I'm Canadian so I can't help it. :biggrin_25525:
