I hate when people park at a closed pump because they are too lazy to park in a spot and walk. I see this all the time. The other day I watched a driver do this, come out and move the garbage can blocking the pump, drive thru and leave. Then other drivers pulled in to fuel only to find the pump broken. It's so freakin' rude.

If I am in an emergency situation for a restroom I will take whatever is close. But get in handle natures anger and get out. I have the worlds best luck when it comes to finding that guy that is inide taking a shower, eating, playing video games, cant find his comdata (yes that really happened). So I'm very picky about keeping my truck out of the way.

I see a lot of strait truck drivers doing this in the Southeast. Not so much for showers, but going in and eating.

I see Murphy's Law all over that one. -

I was in Georgia last week fueling. There was a truck that was pulled through and parked and the driver was inside somewhere. It was very busy that day and every pump was full. I fueled up then went inside to get my receipt. I came back out to leave and the driver was still not out. I went back inside and told the people at the fuel desk his company name and truck number. I heard them call for him over the loud speaker and I went back out to my truck. I couldn't back up because, as you may have guessed, there were trucks, yes plural, parked behind me.
About 10 minutes later, this slow moving fat ### crawled back to his truck at a snails pace. I asked him to move so the others could get fuel and he didn't even acknowledge me! He hoisted his 300 pound frame into his now over loaded driver's side, of course carrying groceries and food items from McDonalds. I got back into my truck, started it and was waiting to pull out. Much to my surprise, he wasn't moving. I went up to his truck to find out what the problem was and he was sitting there eating! I again asked him to pull out and find someplace to park as there were now many trucks in line waiting to fuel. He told me to mind my own business and that he doesn't rush or do anything for anybody...he didn't care. (I really cleaned this up for the forum)
My question is this...What possesses someone to be so rude and so thoughtless? I thought we were all in this business together? A little courtesy can go a long way and help out our, in some people's minds, bad image.
Sorry this is so long, but thank you for letting me vent! -
So, I have now determined that as soon as I see you with one of those, you are immediately suspect of being of bad character.
[highjack]As an aside, HTH can someone drink that much pop in a day? I'm not sure I can drink that much in a year.[/highjack] -
I wonder the same about coffee.
