i was actually going to say that i was glad to hear that he washes his pete. but then i thought, nah, someone else will...!!..lol...

I hear ya, I guess, and this is the first time I admitted to it, I fall in the latter!
But 34 is still a few to many hours, I know you try to avoid it with proper planning, but from what I read sometimes you can avoid it.
For instance, could you drop your trailer at a TS, and drive 20 miles to a lake and spend a day their? -
I would suggest some exercise. Even a brisk walk would do the body good. Far too many truckers fall into the morbidly obese category. A little exercise and a little moderation & nutrition go a long way.
Rick_C, Busasamurai and allniter Thank this. -
I like to get out ten 3/8 chains and drape them over my shoulders and do laps around the lot.CenutryClass Thanks this.

As a company driver...99% chance no...you will have to rent a vehicle, take a cab, basicaly find your own way around. You are free to do what you want just not with their truck.

Very funny...I would assume most of your restarts are spent at home.
-
Well, you can either run 8.5-8.75 hours per day and run continuously every day
Or you can burn out your 70 hour clock 7 days.
I like running regional and shutting down at the house for two days. -
Yeah they are.
if I put ten 3/8 chains on my shoulders I'd probably be pinned to the ground.
