What do you do on your resets when not home and OTR?

Just get safety to issue you a new ID for the ELOG, Oh that was the old days, when the elogs were paper.

 

Drive 8-10 a day. Then just be mindful of your hours running recaps. Try to drive at night or start early

 

Usually at a truck stop where I've been given permission to drop at. I don't secure the trailer. Not sure what you mean about locking my fifth wheel though.

you did you logs on the 60 hour 7 day / 70 hour 8 day rolling schedule

whatever hoirs you worked 8 days ago , are gained back to the 70 hour 8 day schedule

 

Simple don't log more than 10 hours total before you take your time off for the day, then take 14 hours between 10 hour drive shifts.
