Drive 8-10 a day. Then just be mindful of your hours running recaps. Try to drive at night or start early
-
Usually at a truck stop where I've been given permission to drop at. I don't secure the trailer. Not sure what you mean about locking my fifth wheel though.
-
I know this will be a dumb question, but what is a recap?
-
I thought there was a way to lock your 5th wheel so someone doesn’t steal a trailer from folks when dropped, but I may be wrong about that and just ignorant to how folks secure trailers when not attached if they wanted to.

I bring more than 1 t-shirt and sweatpants with me on the road.hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -
Hours you worked on your 8th day of your 70.Safe-Driver Thanks this.

That’s how you used to do your hours before the fedgov did the 34 hour reset .
there was no reset .
you did you logs on the 60 hour 7 day / 70 hour 8 day rolling schedule
whatever hoirs you worked 8 days ago , are gained back to the 70 hour 8 day scheduleConcorde Thanks this. -
Simple don't log more than 10 hours total before you take your time off for the day, then take 14 hours between 10 hour drive shifts.
The next you'll start a thread about I'm not making any money. On day 8 dont exceed your recap. -
I didn’t start this thread or ask the question. The op asked I answered.
Are you gonna start a thread about people answering questions that are asked?
