    walking is good! But!!! Do it without a backbag... Heavy Backbag puts your back in wrong position and it will get you more trouble. Do not run, it's not good for your joints. Just walk breezily and you'll burn a lot of calories and keep yourself fit.

    Believe it or not I found a truckstop product that helps. Check Love's for their full seat cushion with heat and vibrator. Plugs into the cig lighter. When I found this gem I was hurting so bad that I could only drive 2 hrs at a stretch. Now when I feel an ache starting I just switch it on.

    I was making $15 per hour, started out at $14. No audio (headphones/ipod?) , distractions can get you killed. Not to mention the foremen like you to hear their instructions.

    Also, mp3 players and such really do not enjoy a sandy, dusty environment, they also do not fare well when you are working in drainage basins or sewers.

    get out, stretch walk around every couple of hours.

    good seat and a good bed are essential
