Serial podcasts and audio books. I can get them for “free” on my iTunes acct so not really free but I don’t pay extra. Also if you want to learn a language. Great time to load up some audio and habla.

Love the comedy. Listen to it on Pandora and than if I find a comedian I particularly like but have not heard of I search them on YouTube and listen there.

Gotta Love the old Bob Newhart skits. Who do you prefer ?

Bill Burr to old Cosby is my Genre.

If you think your bored with driving long haul? Then maybe you shouldnt be driving.

For me, it is relaxing to drive. Just being out there, wether it is city or country miles. I dont need a radio (tho some times it is nice). Every day I was turning miles it was always different. Even if it meant only doing 40 mph in a torrential down pour. It was always interesting.
I-80 in Nebraska was boring as there is very little to see. Yet if you watch the sides sometimes. You can still make out where villages or farm used to be when they put a Eisenhower type interstate in place

I don’t think I’ll be bored because I haven’t done long haul so I wouldn’t know. I’ve driven on long trips before but I knew it was only 10 hours on the road once in a blue moon. When you’re doing it to the point that you’re literally living behind the wheel, I don’t know how I’d react to that. I mean I used to deliver food before with no problems but I’d have moments of doing other things when I’d get back to the store as opposed to driving straight for hours on end

I listen to CCR who in turn listens to Buck Owens. So perhaps I vicariously listen to Buck Owens as well.

Do you have any common sense? Obviously NO!

Did you read any of the rule book for a cmv driver? Obviously NO!

Were you taught anything in driving school other than turn the key and push the pedal (on the right) to go?
    Apparently NOt!

Should you even be driving a cmv? Obviously NO!

Am I being harsh? Obviously NO! Just being real about a accident waiting for a time and place to happen.

Y'all been trolled. Bunch of dummies.

You could try watching the road. (what a novel idea)
At night. It's too dangerous, driving 80K pounds in the dark. I keep a lookout for the slightest hint of anything beyond my lights. That's what I get paid for.
During the day it's much easier. I'm a thinker. Think alot. No radio or anything else. I like to look for those little things that are interesting. Roadside stops for historical, geological, etc.... If they are big enough for me to stop. I even noticed Patton Tanks outside some National Guard Facilities. Always wanted to see one in person. Some of the old signs that are kept up on businesses on old highways through small towns. I find all that interesting. I've seen all the big things already.
I don't think Route 66 is any more interesting than any other old Route. It just has an old song that was popular. That's all.

I mostly like to drive while driving, who woulda thunk it? Did u seriously ask if u could watch a movie while driving? Theres enough stupid #### goin on with 4 wheelers and other trucks when ur fully paying attention , and u want to add a movie to the mix please do us all a favor and turn in ur cdl, its drivers like that driving distracted that add to all the wrecks backing up the interstate for 16 miles and everybody has to suffer for ur stupidity
