Im an OTR driver and today receiver refused a pallet of products saying it is "over" and they rejected it. My company that i work for said to donate it to some church or something. Well im not familiar with this area. So what do you do in this kind of situation?

You're here.
Google is your friend.
Guess it depends on what it is.
Google Churches/Food Pantries(sp)
Give it away at TS. -
Usually just give it away to the next company terminal I get to.
..or refuse their refusal 👀👀 -
Sell it on craigslist.

If it is food product look for a food bank. Other products look for a charity. Or you can tell your company to find some place to drop it a lot of lazy dispatcher push problems off on the driver. It might be their problem when you show up at you next pickup.
281ric Thanks this. -
Call the closest walmart and ask to be transfered to the claims department. Those guys know all the charities because they all come to walmart looking for donations.
The claims people will probably know who can take it the fastest too.
I know this because I have a family member who runs the claims department at our walmart. She donates TONS of product regularly.281ric, newbietrucker007, albert l and 1 other person Thank this. -
Go to the closest big truck stop park and then get on the CB and say that you have whatever it is and that who ever wants it come and get it. I did that once with two pallets of paper towels. It took about twenty minutes to get rid of all of it.
poppapump1332 and 281ric Thank this. -
Depends on what the product is either sell it on cb or make it disappear.
